• Powder coating: When it comes to powder coating, direct mixing isn't ideal due to the weight. We recommend a sequential application (powder, then flakes). Feel free to share your experiences with us for innovative solutions!

Processing tips:

• Wet application: Mix the flakes with your clear coat. We recommend a nozzle size of 1.2 mm or larger for 0.1-0.2 mm glitter, and generally at least 1.8 mm for optimal application.
• Dry application: Apply the flakes with a suitable flake gun or a spreader attachment onto a still-wet layer of clear coat or a special flake adhesive. Flake adhesives based on transparent binders that can be painted over are available specifically for bonding flakes using the dry application technique.
• Recommendation 1 (basic protection): Always finish the application with at least two rich coats of clear varnish to give the flakes their shine and to achieve a smooth surface.
• Recommendation 2 (Gloss Optimization): For maximum shine, plan intermediate sanding into your paint job, especially with larger flakes. The more coats of clear coat and intermediate sanding, the deeper and more brilliant the sparkle effect will be.

Use as nail polish:

1. Fill an empty nail polish bottle halfway with flakes.
2. Fill the bottle with clear nail polish and shake well before use.
3. First, apply your desired nail polish color (e.g. black) and wait about 5 minutes until the polish starts to dry slightly.
4. Now apply the mixed nail polish. For a more intense effect, you can dab the flakes directly from a small bowl onto the still-wet polish.
5. Seal everything with a clear nail polish with a nice top coat and let it cure completely.
6. After curing, the nail can be polished if necessary.
